With Christmas only 2 days away and me on a budget, I'm still shopping for fab xmas gifts for my mom and friends. So while brainstorming I decided to jot down some fashionable yet affordable ideas. Here's my last minute xmas gifts list.
1).Leggings and/or stylish patterned tights
These two accessories are a hot commodity this season! They come in a variety of colors/designs and look great with dresses, fierce shoes, shirt dresses etc. So you can't go wrong with purchasing a girlfriend(s) either one or both. Best part is, you can buy them just about anywhere and under $50. Forever21 sells the tights for under $10 and leggings for under $20.

2).Scarves, shawls, and snoods
Since it's winter what better gift to give than a scarf, nice shawl, or a snood. All three are winter necessities that any woman can use.
(a snood)
3). Jewelry
Can't ever go wrong buying a woman some jewelry...
4).Cosmetics or skin care
As women we live by our beauty regime so why not purchase the products the women in your life can't live without.
5). A snuggie
May not be fashion forward but all the rage in keeping you warm and cozy.
Happy Holidays

I love high-end fashion but I can't afford the high-end prices so it always warms my little heart to see haute designers create collections for us regular folk. Here are several couture designers who have established collections for everyday retail chains.
1). Norma Kamali for Walmart
2). Simply Vera Wang for Kohl's(apparel, accessories, and home since 2007)
3).Charlotte Ronson I heart Ronson for JCPenny (since 2008)
Designers who have upcoming collections
1). Rodarte for Target(limited edition will hit stores Dec 20th with prices under $50)
2) Paris Designer Sonia Rykiel for H&M (collection on sale Dec. 5th in 1,500 H&M locations)
3). Jean Paul Gaultier for Target( will launch next spring in 250 retail stores and will remain on sale til April 2010)
Target is on a roll!!! Let me find out Ima have to add Target to my favorites list. I can't wait for the upcoming lines.
I'm soooo happy to see more and more designers create affordable lines. They finally understand not everyone is able to spend big bucks on the latest fashion trends, especially now in this economy. I mean c'mon who doesn't want to look fierce and ferosh?
More info on the upcoming lines as the launch dates get closer..

Hey Fashionistas,
Hope you all enjoyed the holiday weekend because I did! Now back to business. If you missed all the Black Friday deals, wished there were more, or kicking off holiday shopping well you're in luck because today is CYBER MONDAY!!!!!!! If you don't know what Cyber Monday is, it is the equivalent of Black Friday, kinda like the virtual Black Friday, just on Monday. So instead of getting up in the wee hours of the morning to catch the early bird specials, you can shop while at work with a click of a mouse...sweet.
Since the inception of " Cyber Mondays" this day has grown rapidly. It is reported that more than 96 million Americans will participate(hope the internet won't crash). Also, the number of retailers have increased as well. Last year two thousand retailers had special deals on this Monday. This year approximately 7000 more retailers have jumped on the Cyber Monday bandwagon. So if you do plan on shopping today here are some places you should visit.
1). Ann Taylor is offering 40% off everything plus free shipping for purchases $100+.
2). DSW (my shoe haven) is offering 25% off ENTIRE PURCHASE!!!!
3) Arden B is offering 30% entire store off plus free shipping on all purchases $15+
4) Banana Republic 20% and free shipping
5) Lucky Brand 30% off everything and free shipping $75+
6) Steve Madden 25% off plus free shipping
7) Guess 25% off full priced merchandise and an additional 60% off sale items
8) Bakers shoes 25% off when you spend $100+ and 15 % if you spend under.
And the biggest deal of them all right now is..........
9).New York & Co offering 50% off EVERYTHING plus FREE SHIPPING ON ANY PURCHASE!!!! And if you know like I know, NY&Co. has some great stuff. I had the chance to go to one of their stores over the weekend and people were grabbing things up left from right. So if you see something you want ya better buy it because the next shopper probably going to grab it if you don't.
Other stores that you should check out is Saks Fifth Ave. Forever 21, 7 for Mankind, Free People, and BeBe because they're all offering free shipping (which is a deal in it's self). Check out Target as well. I'm pretty sure they have some serious deals going on.
Check all stores for details..

Love the high-fashion seen on runways? Wish you could afford and wear them? Well thanks to a newly formed website called Rent-the-Runway accessing RTW couture is as easy popping pop corn (well not that easy but you get my drift).

Rent-the-Runway, a mail-order service, will allow women to rent fashions from notable designers (i.e. Diane Von Furstenberg & Herve Leger) at prices starting from $50-$200. To get the full story check nytimes.com

So like any female I love to shop but I also love to find deals on my favorite brands. Hell it's a recession so every buck counts and although it's nice to splurge on a guilty pleasure every now and then, it's still nice to shop at reasonable prices in general. Well, here are a few options that will allow for guilt free shopping experience.
