OMG, another celeb has hopped on the parfum bandwagon and it is none other than Ms. Sasha Fierce, herself, Beyonce. Slated for February 2010, Heat is the entertainer's first scent and is estimated to make $100 million within its first year. Beyonce's team hopes that Heat will "re-energize the celebrity category." If the fragrance market is so beleaguered why does it seem like every celeb is launching or has a signature scent? Rihanna, Kanye, Eva Longoria-Parker, Beyonce etc etc. The list can go on and on. Is it that celebs are thinking like B's team? Hoping to create the parfum that will breathe new life into the troubled market? Nonetheless, B do ya thang. I'm pretty sure Heat will do extremely well.
