Fashion Exhibition..Nic*Fish and Jypsea

Hey Fashionistas,

For those who celebrated Easter Sunday, I hope it was enjoyable!

Two weekends ago, I had the chance to attend a fashion exhibition of Nic*Fish and Jypsea at the Solo House Project in Newark, NJ and had a great time! Just to give you a little background info.....

Nic*Fish is a contemporary womenswear label designed by stylist/designer, Nicole Fisher. Created in 2000, Nic*Fish collections are composed of versatile, convertible, and trendsetting pieces, in jersey fabric.

Jypsea is a funky, eco-friendly, handcrafted leather-goods line created by designer Terina McKinney. McKinney's line is inspired by individuality and the beauty of nature but the real beauty of Jypsea is that the accessories are made with exotic skins, leathers, and other quality recycled materials, making them one-of-a-kind pieces or limited editions, so everybody isn't walking around mirroring each other. Recently, Jypsea was shown during NY Fashion Week.

Both labels are uber chic and made for confident and unique fashionistas everywhere.

The venue, Solo House Project, was phenomenal! The colorful tribal art accentuated both labels due to its authenticity.

The fingerless gloves are by Jypsea. Aren't they hot?

This is the back of the black jacket she had on. This is so fierce. She was working it!!

These pictures are of inside the Jypsea Boutique.

Other Jypsea clutches and turquoise fingerless gloves

I loved these two clutches! Especially the bottom one

Needless to say, I am a fan of both! I even purchased this little number from Nic*Fish.

I bet you're wondering...It's a gold jumper. And this is how you get the top result.

You put it on as a halter. It ties at the neck and back.

Now, the bottom half that was lying on the floor in the first picture goes in between the legs and around the back, like so.

Lastly, wrap the ends of the garment around you to tie. You can leave it tied in the back or bring it to the front like I did, I like it better this way lol and voila!

To add a little edge and pop,  I added black feather earrings, red lipstick, and these 5 and 1/4 platforms.

Both designers were extremely friendly and can't wait to see more from them. For more information. Check out www.nicfish.com and www.jypsea.com.
