The Wait Is Ova: Rihanna to break her silence on Chris Brown beatdown

Since the Chris Brown assault, February 8, 2009, Rihanna has taken a vow of silence, leaving the world to only digest Chris Brown's side of the story and to formulate their own opinion of what may have happened that fateful night. Well wait no more because Rihanna will break her vow in a two-part interview on ABC's Good Morning America Thursday and 20/20 on Friday. The Barbadian pop star will finally disclose her take of the heated night and what has been going on since.

In a recent Glamour Magazine exclusive, Rihanna discusses how the assault has made her "stronger, wiser, and more aware" and how she "wants to give as much insight" to young women experiencing domestic violence. To read the interview click here.

Since the assault, Chris Brown has done a series of interviews trying to rectify the situation while being sentenced to five years probation, 180 days of community service, a year of domestic violence classes, and barred from any contact with the Disturbia hit-maker.

Rihanna has two new songs out, "Russian Roulette" and "Wait Your Turn" which will be on her fourth album, Rated R, slated to drop Nov. 23rd.

Although I'm very curious to hear what miss Rih Rih has to say since she hasn't said a darn word, how convenient is it that she's ready to talk when her album is about to drop. I'm all about empowering women and what not but she should have said something a while ago because now this just looks like a PR stunt which is disappointing because she could have taken an underrated subject and turned it into a sincere and motivational movement.

O well it is what it is  but check out her new video for "Wait Your Turn"

What do yall think?
